Will I get a receipt I can use for reimbursement?

The moment your payment processes, we send a receipt to the email address on your account. The receipt includes the course name, state, total paid, payment method (last four digits of card or "PayPal"), date, transaction ID, and any state filing fees broken out separately. The format is structured for employer reimbursement, court documentation, or accounting use — a single PDF that clearly identifies the service provided, the amount paid, and the regulating jurisdiction. For business accounts, receipts can be itemized by employee or department.

You can also access receipts at any time by logging into your account and visiting the order history section. Re-downloading a receipt years later works the same way — the records don't expire and aren't archived behind any retention boundary. If you need a receipt formatted differently for an unusual reimbursement requirement, our support team issues custom formats on request: itemized line items for tax categories, signed statements verifying course completion for legal use, or alternative date formats for international employers.

For drivers who paid for a course that an employer is reimbursing — fleet safety completions, employer-mandated defensive driving for company-vehicle drivers, employer-encouraged drivers ed for teen children of employees — the receipt and the certificate together form the complete reimbursement package. Some employers require both a receipt for the financial reimbursement and a certificate for compliance verification; both are available immediately and can be forwarded together to the employer's HR or expense system.
