Refund — I am 60 percent done
I have completed about 60 percent of the Bismarck course but I want to stop. Can I get a partial refund?
Hello Crystal, Once a course is more than partially started, we generally do not issue a refund because the state-approved content has already been delivered. That said, we want to make sure you have everything you need to use it later. Hello Drew, Thanks for asking. The North Dakota Department of Transportation allows a 3-point reduction every 12 months after completion of an approved defensive driving course. Specifics: - The 3 points are removed from your active point count - The original violations stay on the record but the points are reduced - We report your completion to NDDOT, usually within 24 hours; the adjustment posts within 7-14 business days If you need another reduction down the road, you can take a refresher in 12 months.
