Used 10 points in 5 years already — eligible?

I have already used the Ohio Remedial course five times in five years for 10 points. Can I still take it?

Hello Vincent, Important question. Ohio limits the Remedial program to a maximum of 10 points credited within any 5-year window. If you have already received 10 points of credit in the last 5 years, you are not eligible for additional point credit until the 5-year window resets. A few things to consider: - You can still take the course voluntarily for safety and possibly for an insurance discount - Check your driving record through the Ohio BMV to confirm exactly how many credits have been used and when the 5-year window resets - Future eligibility depends on the rolling date of the earliest credit We can hold any enrollment until you confirm eligibility with the BMV.
