What can support help me with?
Our support team is trained on the full ETS lifecycle, so we can help with: choosing the right course for your situation, troubleshooting login or password issues, fixing failed payments, issuing receipts, reissuing lost certificates, coordinating with courts when there's a reporting question, walking you through technical issues in the course platform, and explaining how state-specific rules affect your enrollment. We can't tell you the answer to a quiz question, give legal advice about your case, or guarantee a court will accept a late submission — those are outside our role.
The breadth of in-scope topics reflects the integrated nature of the service. A driver enrolling for ticket dismissal might need help with course selection (which course matches the citation), payment processing (the card issuer flagged the transaction), course delivery (a chapter wouldn't load), certificate generation (the name on the certificate didn't match the citation), and court coordination (the clerk wanted a specific case number on the filing). All five touchpoints route through the same support team, which means the agent on the second call has context from the first call rather than starting fresh. The continuity is what makes a single 5-minute follow-up call possible instead of repeated context-setting.
The out-of-scope items are bounded by professional and regulatory limits rather than support's willingness to help. Quiz answers can't be provided because the state requires the driver to actually pass the exam; legal advice can't be provided because we're not lawyers; court acceptance guarantees can't be issued because the court is an independent decision-maker. The line is honest rather than restrictive — drivers asking for help that's structurally impossible get a clear "we can't do that" with a referral to who can (a traffic-court attorney for legal advice, the court clerk for case-specific procedural questions). The clarity prevents drivers from spending time on a path that won't produce the outcome they need.
