Does Class C ELDT report to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry?

Every Class C ELDT completion we process is transmitted to the federal Training Provider Registry within two business days of the final exam. Your state DMV pulls directly from the TPR when verifying your eligibility for the Class C skills test, so there's no paperwork you walk into a DMV office with. You receive a digital certificate copy for your records, but the verification process is electronic end-to-end.

Endorsement completions are reported separately under their own course codes. The separate reporting structure means a driver's TPR record shows distinct entries for Class C theory plus each endorsement's theory, which gives auditors and state DMVs precise visibility into which trainings have been completed. Endorsement-specific reporting is what allows state DMVs to authorize specific endorsement testing without requiring re-verification of the underlying Class C completion.

The faster-than-required reporting cadence is important for drivers timing their Class C path around employment start dates. A driver who completes theory on a Monday and BTW on a Wednesday should be able to schedule the skills test within the same week, not wait the full federal window before scheduling.
