I am signing up for the Charleston Alcohol and Drug Traffic Safety Program. Is it 4 hours long?

Answer

Hello Dwayne, Yes — the South Carolina ADTSP (also referred to as the 4-hour defensive driving course in some counties) is set at 4 hours by South Carolina regulations. Notes on the format: - The 4 hours is timed actively — you cannot fast-forward - Content covers South Carolina-specific traffic law, hazard perception, and impaired driving - Final exam is at the end and included in the 4-hour minimum The certificate transmits to the Charleston County court the same business day you pass.
