Got a letter from Michigan SoS about BDIC
I got a letter from the Michigan Secretary of State in Detroit telling me to take a Basic Driver Improvement Course. Is your course it?
Hello Marcus, Yes — our online course is approved by the Michigan Secretary of State as a Basic Driver Improvement Course (BDIC). Drivers eligible for BDIC have 0 or 1 prior point on their record at the time of the qualifying offense. A few important steps: - Have the letter handy — it includes a course completion deadline (usually 60 days) - Complete the course before the deadline; we electronically report your completion to the Michigan SoS - The qualifying citation will not be added to your record once SoS processes the completion Reply with your driver's license number and we can double-check eligibility before you pay.
