The Michigan Secretary of State sent me an eligibility notice for BDIC after a ticket in Ann Arbor. Will this keep points off my record?

Hello Jason, Yes, taking an approved Basic Driver Improvement Course (BDIC) keeps eligible violation points off your record in Michigan: - Under Michigan law, eligible drivers who receive a BDIC notice have 60 days to pass the course - Passing prevents the Secretary of State from adding violation points to your master driving record and keeps the ticket hidden from insurance companies - We report your completion directly to the Michigan Department of State database electronically.
