Will this show on my Indiana driving record?
I completed the course for a Fort Wayne ticket. Will the completion itself show on my Indiana BMV record?
Hello Rachel, Thanks for reaching out. Indiana BMV records show the underlying citation and any court-ordered actions, but the defensive driving course completion typically does not appear as a separate line item. What does happen: - The court may use your completion to reduce or dismiss the ticket, which then updates the BMV record accordingly - Insurance carriers do not see the course completion on the BMV record itself — you provide your certificate to them directly - We can re-send the certificate to you any time you need it To see your current BMV record, request a copy through mybmv.in.gov. Can I get a receipt for work reimbursement?
My employer in Indianapolis reimburses defensive driving for company drivers. Can you send me a formatted receipt?
