I have been driving for 30 years and feel confident. Can I take a single test in Missoula instead of all the chapters?

Hello Hannah, Unfortunately no — Montana state-approved defensive driving courses require completion of all chapters in order, with a minimum time per page set by the curriculum. There is no test-out option. The reasoning: - The course has to meet a state minimum to count toward court-ordered resolution - Skipping chapters would invalidate the certificate The good news: experienced drivers usually move through quickly, completing a typical 4-6 hour course in one focused sitting.
