I am signing up for the Texas defensive driving course for a Houston ticket. Is it really 6 hours?

Hello Connor, Yes — the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation requires defensive driving courses to be at least 6 hours of timed content. Our online Texas DD course meets that requirement. A few important points: - The 6 hours is timed actively — no fast-forwarding - You can split it across multiple sittings; progress saves automatically - The final exam is included in the 6-hour requirement - Texas allows one defensive driving completion every 12 months Once you pass, the certificate goes to the Harris County court the same business day.
