Will completion show on my driving record?
I finished the course in Providence. Will the Rhode Island DMV record show that I completed it?

Rhode Island DMV records typically show the underlying citation and any court action taken, but the defensive driving course completion itself does not appear as a separate line on the record. A few notes: - The court may use your completion to reduce or dismiss the citation; that action does post to the record - Insurance companies do not see the course on the DMV record itself — give them the certificate directly - We can resend the certificate to you any time To verify your current Rhode Island driving record, request a copy through the Rhode Island DMV.
