I finished the course in Portsmouth. Will New Hampshire insurance companies offer me a discount?
Hello Donald, New Hampshire does not mandate a statewide insurance discount for defensive driving completion, but most carriers offer one voluntarily — typically 5-10 percent for 2-3 years. To activate it: - Email or upload your completion certificate to your insurer - Ask whether they offer a defensive driving or mature driver discount - Get the percentage and expiration date in writing If your current insurer does not, shopping two or three other carriers usually finds one that does, particularly for drivers 55+.
