I am 56 years old living in Rochester. Does Minnesota mandate a discount on car insurance for completing an online driving course?

Hello Thomas, Yes! Minnesota Statute § 65B.28 requires all auto insurance providers in Minnesota to give a premium discount to mature drivers: - Drivers aged 55 and older who complete an approved 8-hour initial or 4-hour refresher course qualify for a mandatory 10 percent discount - The discount remains in effect for 3 years, after which a 4-hour refresher renewal course extends the discount - Simply provide your completion certificate to your insurance provider in Rochester to activate the savings.
