Can Augusta drivers earn a 3-point demerit credit on their Maine driving record by taking defensive driving online?
Respuesta
Hello Arthur, Yes, the Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) allows licensed drivers to earn a 3-point credit upon course completion: - Drivers with active violation points can take an approved defensive driving course once every 365 days for point reduction - The credit helps prevent license suspension if your driving record is close to the statutory point thresholds - Submit your completion certificate to the Maine BMV Driver Services Division in Augusta to have your record credited.
