This online, state approved course is for drivers that have been issued a traffic citation in Washington and been referred/ordered by the court to complete a Level 2 defensive driving course. This is the 8-hour course.

To Meet Your Court Requirement for 8-Hour Traffic School:
- On your assigned court day, go to court and request that the judge allow you to take defensive driving online.
- Register for our online Washington Defensive Driving Course. Remember, sign up for the 8-Hour course if the court ordered you to take Level 2 defensive driving.
- Complete the online course 8-Hour course before the deadline assigned by the traffic court.
- When you complete the course, your certificate of completion will be sent to you. It is your responsibility to deliver your certificate to the court. Some courts will allow you to mail your certificate in, other courts require you to walk your certificate in. Please check the procedures of your court to determine how to proceed.
- 2-4 weeks after submitting your certificate to the court, pull a copy of your driving record to ensure that your defensive driving courses has been applied to your DOL record. This will mask your ticket from your insurance company.
