Massachusetts RMV driver retraining course requirement in Springfield
The Massachusetts RMV notified me that I must take a driver retraining program due to 3 surchargeable events. Can I complete this course online?
Hello Danielle, Under Massachusetts General Law, drivers accumulating 3 or more surchargeable events within 24 months must complete a retraining course: - You have 90 days from the date of the RMV suspension notice to complete the approved curriculum and avoid license suspension - The course focuses on hazard perception, traffic law compliance, and crash prevention strategies - Once finished, your completion certificate is reported so the Massachusetts RMV can update your record and maintain your driving privileges.
