Hello Bradley, Montana does not require a statewide insurance discount for defensive driving completion, but most major Montana carriers offer one voluntarily, especially for drivers 55 and older. To find out: - Call your insurer and ask about a 'defensive driving' or 'mature driver' discount - Have the certificate ready to email or upload - Ask for the percentage and expiration date in writing If they do not offer one, it is worth shopping carriers — discounts are commonly 5-10 percent for 2-3 years.
