Hello Victoria, Yes, Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) allows drivers to reduce points by completing an approved defensive driving course: - Georgia drivers can remove up to 7 points from their driving record once every 5 years under state guidelines - If your ticket is pending in Columbus Recorder's Court, presenting the certificate can also lead to fine reduction or dismissal - Submit your official completion certificate to the Georgia DDS in Conyers or your local DDS customer service center.
