All the material is clearly written and present in chapter format for easy reading and understanding. You also have the option of upgrading to an audio read-along that reads all the course material through your speakers.
Online Streaming Video Course
Ramp up the convenience and ease of taking our New Jersey defensive driving course with our brand new online video option. Rather than reading, you’ll be presented the material through a fun, 3D-animated movie. Our exclusive hassle-free video course is the easiest way you can earn your certificate of completion. All you do is sit, watch, learn, and pass.
Our Defensive Driving Course is New Jersey State-Approved
I Drive Safely’s New Jersey defensive driving course is approved by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission to meet all requirements needed to reduce points or get an insurance discount. Each course is 6 hours long and comprised of short, easy-to-understand chapters that can be worked through at your own pace.
At the end of each chapter, you’ll take a quick 10-question quiz; score an 80% or higher to pass. After the last chapter you’ll be given a multiple-choice final exam - score 80% or higher to officially complete the course. If you’re worried about passing it the first time, don’t sweat it - we offer 3 attempts to pass the final exam. You shouldn’t have any trouble the first time around, thanks to our extremely engaging curriculum, but it’s there if you need it.
